Wide Eyed and Wonderful

This is a classic to me, and I'm uploading it due to cleaning house and projects galore. My oldest daughter, Kristen, had written, either with her kindergarten or grade 1 class, a story entitled "The Green Me" in which the main character, herself, wakes up in the colour the title insinuates. That inspired me to doodle this. I had actually planned to illustrate the entire story, but life made me put it aside. Poor excuse, really. If I can find that story again, I believe one day I will finish it.

Newsflash: the memories rekindled by this doodle gets the illustrator all verklempt.
